American History in Video provides access to a video collection related to the study of American history, with over 2,000 hours and more than 5,000 titles on file. The collection contains commercial and governmental newsreels, archival footage, public affairs footage, and documentaries. The database organizes the video by historical era as well as relevance to historical people and events, providing the videos with historical context. New content is added periodically.

Birds of the World is a powerful research database that brings together deep, scholarly content from four celebrated works of ornithology: Birds of North America, Handbook of the Birds of the World, Neotropical Birds, and Bird Families of the World, with millions of bird observations from eBird and multimedia from the Macaulay Library into a single platform where biologists and birders can explore comprehensive life history information on birds. Also available on this database is the Internet Bird Collection program, which was closed in 2019 and the donated media was imported into the Cornell Lab of Ornithology’s Macaulay Library in 2019. Dance in Video features streaming videos of 20th century dance performances and documentaries about choreographers and dance training. Includes dance styles ranging from ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, experimental and improvisational dance. Patrons can create personal playlists to highlight specific performance elements or movements, and link to clips created by others. The database is updated regularly, and currently contains over 300 videos, representing over 275 hours of dance footage.

These high-definition, surround-sound recordings of William Shakespeare's plays offer access to 9 performances filmed before live audiences from 2018-2019 at the Royal Shakespeare Company's Stratford-upon-Avon theater.
