This database contains bibliographic records from the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Library. Agricola contains more than 4.8 million citations, which are comprised of journal articles, book chapters, monographs, theses, patents, software, audiovisual materials, and technical reports related to agriculture. Agricola encompasses agriculture and many allied disciplines, including animal and veterinary sciences, entomology, plant sciences, forestry, aquaculture and fisheries, farming and farming systems, agricultural economics, extension and education, food and human nutrition, agricultural engineering and technology, and earth and environmental sciences. Note: This database pulls much of its data from the USDA/NAL Agricola website (for which it is named), and search results will be similar, but this site is the EBSCO version and has access to other EBSCO resources.

The American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Historical Periodicals Collection Series 2 presents over 1000 titles dating from 1821 through 1837. The series two is second of the five series created from serials holdings belonging to one of the premier repositories in the United States, the American Antiquarian Society and featuring about 6500 titles from the seventeenth through the late nineteenth century. The subject matter covered in Series 2 represents the Jacksonian Democracy era in history and is broad in scope and includes agriculture, entertainment, history, literary criticism, and politics.

Anatomy.TV is a suite of 3D interactive models of human anatomy. Controls allow users to zoom, rotate and peel away layers from the models. MRIs, X-rays, live-action movies and animations are also included to supplement the computer-generated models.

The Arabidopsis Information Resource (TAIR) maintains a database of genetic and molecular biology data for the model higher plant Arabidopsis thaliana. Data available from TAIR includes the complete genome sequence along with gene structure, gene product information, gene expression, DNA and seed stocks, genome maps, genetic and physical markers, publications, and information about the Arabidopsis research community. Gene product function data is updated every week from published research literature and community data submissions.

Proquest's Biological Sciences Database covers biochemistry, genetics, and virology, as well as a number of other topics. Citations from thousands of journals and conferences are provided.

bioRxiv (pronounced "bio-archive") is a large online archive of preprints in the life sciences. Articles are not peer-reviewed, edited, or typeset before being posted online; however, all articles undergo a basic screening process.

Birds of the World is a powerful research database that brings together deep, scholarly content from four celebrated works of ornithology: Birds of North America, Handbook of the Birds of the World, Neotropical Birds, and Bird Families of the World, with millions of bird observations from eBird and multimedia from the Macaulay Library into a single platform where biologists and birders can explore comprehensive life history information on birds. Also available on this database is the Internet Bird Collection program, which was closed in 2019 and the donated media was imported into the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's Macaulay Library in 2019. Entrez is an integrated, text-based search and retrieval system used at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) for searching major databases, including PubMed, Nucleotide and Protein Sequences, Protein Structures, Complete Genomes, Taxonomy, and others. It can be used to retrieve a variety of information on subjects related to the life sciences.

This database provides taxonomic, conservation status and distribution information on taxa that have been evaluated using the IUCN Red List Categories and Criteria. This system is designed to determine the relative risk of extinction for a given organism. The collection is searchable by species, subspecies, region, category, habitat, and threat level.

MarinLit is a database dedicated to marine natural products research. The database was established in the 1970s by Professors John Blunt and Murray Munro at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. It was designed as an in-house system to fulfil the needs of the University of Canterbury Marine Group and has evolved to contain unique searchable features and powerful dereplication tools. The extremely comprehensive range of data contained along with these powerful features makes MarinLit the database of choice for marine natural products researchers. This is a database from the USDA Forest Service that provides an index of forestry articles, publications, and other items. Subjects covered by the database include resource management, wildlife management, economics, silviculture, ecosystems, forest soils, forest fire mangement, rangelands, forest recreation, forest products industries, and methodolgy and advanced technology. OpinionArchives provides access to the full text of several periodicals which feature commentaries and opinion pieces on topics related to politics, culture, and the arts. Science Citation Index Expanded is a multidisciplinary index to the journal literature of the sciences. It fully covers major journals across 178 scientific disciplines and includes all cited references captured from indexed articles.

ScienceDirect provides access to a collection of articles from over 2,500 journals and more than 30,000 book titles. Various topics in a range of scientific fields are covered by the database.

TRAIL is a collaborative project to digitize, archive, and provide persistent and unrestricted access to federal technical reports issued prior to 1975. The TRAIL project was initiated in 2005 by engineering and government document librarians (including the University of Utah). The project has since expanded and is now a nationwide workflow among over 30 institutional partners. As of April 2011 more than 30,000 documents have been scanned, cataloged and added to the repository. U.S. federal agencies included in the collection so far are the Bureau of Mines, National Bureau of Standards, Atomic Energy Commission, Saline Waters, and NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics). The collection is constantly expanding to include additional agencies.
